We are currently seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to work within the metering division for one of Australia’s leading energy providers. To be successful for this role, you will have at least two years experience working in an Energy or other Utility industry in field service operations or similar areas.

The Role:

  • Creating, updating customer records and managing the follow of service orders.
  • Co-ordinating tasks required to fulfil a work order; arranging visits by field technicians, setting appointments with customers, requesting stock to be dispatched.
  • Providing front-level communication with customers, including; contacting customers regarding installation of meters, receiving and responding to queries from Field service providers and retail customers, level one fault diagnosis using checklists and escalating issues to team leader.
  • Maintaining data in multiple systems, including data entry and data update.
  • Preparing operational and progress reports.
  • Liaising with customers, subject matter experts, field crews, logistics providers and other stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience throughout the fulfilment process.
  • Working with stakeholders and team leader to suggest and enact improvements in the work systems.
  • Identifying, quantifying and reporting of exceptions with installations and field service calls.

Skills Required

  • Experience using SAP, SQL, Tableu highly desirable
  • Ability to accurately capture data into systems in a timely and structured manner
  • A logical, methodical and organised approach to tasks
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective written & verbal communication
  • A friendly, polite and efficient telephone manner
  • The ability to manage numerous stakeholders and tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to follow processes, including managing escalations and exceptions from inception to resolution
  • Pro-active approach to thinking through and solving problems
  • Good Excel and other MS office suite application skills
