Desktop Support Engineer L2 - AD, Exchange, Win 7, Citrix, File and Print, DNS, SOE, SCCM, Cisco, VoIP

Exciting career opportunity for a Level 1/2 Desktop Support Engineer L2 - AD, Exchange, Win 7, Citrix, File and Print, DNS, SOE, SCCM, Cisco, VoIP - to work with an exciting enterprise size client within Sydney, based at Mascot.

You will be responsible for the delivery of 1st and 2nd line Desktop and some networking business critical support services for users, within their corporate environment of 500 users. The role incorporates regular reporting to the Team Leader, as well as local supervision and mentoring of other junior staff, act in a consulting role with third party organisations, as well as helping to maintain a functional relationship with business line technologists for Desktop related issues.

The successful Desktop Support Engineer L1/2 - AD, Exchange, Win 7, Citrix, File and Print, DNS, SOE, SCCM, Cisco, VoIP - will be part of a support function but be an autonomous person, used to working in a small sized team of 4 and used to providing an excellent client experience. You will need to possess, 4+ years in a similar type function with ideally 1-2 years working in a similar sized enterprise industry.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in relevant operating systems.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in: Windows 2003 Server, Domain structure, Windows Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows 7, Windows SCCM, AD, Exchange, Remote access technologies, DNS/DHCP/WINS, Detailed knowledge of workstation and server hardware, Device drivers and peripheral support.
  • Experience in supporting laptops/remote users
  • Microsoft Outlook experience
  • Good documentation skills and mentoring skills
  • Able to demonstrate and articulate effectively
