Randstad Technologies is currently working with a large organisation in the engineering industry which is about to begin a large program of work, lasting until mid-2017, that is aimed at rapidly progressing their transformation agenda. The focus of the program is to enable the company to become leaner, more efficient, agile and responsive to the changing needs of it’s customers.


Guide & coach the business team leads on how to work with IM&T to improve service delivery for business outcomes

  • Demonstrate value to the business leads in this function and help to develop a more mature understanding of IT within the business,, acting as their account representative
  • Keep key decision makers informed of the major initiatives in the EA/EGM level pipeline
  • Work with Sourcing, Finance & Contract, assist the business managers understand the service life cycle budget and demand planning for IT services
  • Working with Enterprise Architecture

Develop and maintain an understanding of the consumption of the IM&T services within the business

  • Form relationships with key decision makers within the business's different departments
  • Develop a solid understanding of the use & expectations of the different service assets and how they contribute to business goals/performance
  • Support the development of new initiatives in the development of service level objectives, contribute to production readiness assessments before systems go live
  • Listen to & understand concerns and changes required


  • Develop & maintain effective working relationships with all staff associated with this function

Skills & requirements:

  • Experience in commercial IT services and ideally engineers
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated ability to develop, influence and coach people within business relationships at mid-Senior level
  • Experience with organisational change and IT maturity changes
  • Demonstrated experience in business writing /reporting, including conversion from technical to business language
  • ITIL Foundation certification/knowledge and an understanding of ITSM
  • High level of emotional intelligence and communication skills
