About the company

Established in the 70’s this reputable National builder has consistently dazzled its envied competitors with its ability to over achieve in all facets of their work.

No job intricacies phase them, from complex intricate projects including large substations from the ground up to fire stations, upgrading rail stations, high end residential, and major commercial construction for major players. They are very much a solid identity within the Sydney build space.

About the role

As one of their Foreman you will be expected to take full ownership of the project supervising site activities and delegating as necessary. You will be a seasoned Foreman looking to step into the role of a General Foreman / Site Manager on a live substation site $700k.

Ideally you will have direct experience working on Building projects over $2 million AUD for a recognised Sydney builder.

Experience working on substations previously would be very attractive for shortlist but not 100% essential for the role. They are keen to find a Site Manager / Seasoned Foreman whom is capable of Demolition of an existing building, putting in walls, ceilings, structural steel flooring, concreting, painting and finishes round a live transformer.

Duties & Project Scope:

• Preparing programmes
• Adherence to BCA standards
• Site Inspections, establishment and testing.
• Daily and Monthly reporting
• OH&S
• Subcontractor site Inductions
• Managing onsite issues
• Working to deadlines, contract and project time frames.


Skills and Experience

• You will have a minimum of 4 year’s experience working on Build projects in Sydney.
• You will be highly motivated and ambitious with drive and passion in a leadership capacity.
• Exceptional Communication skills
• A “can do” positive attitude and confidence.
• Good management approach.
