Our client one of the largest childcare providers in Australia is seeking a State Operations Manager to oversee the business in Victoria and South Australia.

To drive productivity improvements, introduce efficiencies and drive the delivery of the state operations to ensure the retention and commercial growth of OSHC services. This will be achieved by planning, leading, managing and developing a state operations team that is high performing and engaged.

Key functions of this role include;

Improve productivity

Leverage national relationships and business improvement opportunities

Provide inputs into strategy to improve national operations

Minimize risk and mange safety in services

Lead and manage performance and development

Engage and retain employees

Promote and influence relationships with governing departments ie ACECQA and local authorities

In this role you would have 8 direct reports over two states. You would be required to manage staff remotely and on occasion travel interstate. The ideal candidate will bring there strong people management skills , excellent finance and budgeting experience and strong business acumen.
