About the Company

We are representing a number of Departments within the ACT Government space that are offering roles within their respective Emergency Services Division, with a particular objective to deliver on community safety and emergency management. This particular role is a 2-3 month initial contract.

About the role

You will be working under the direction and in close consultation of the Project Manager and with rural fire services to deliver a comprehensive report for bushfire management.

Your role will be responsible for the following:

  • Complete due diligence analysis
  • Compile evidence, prepare reports and maintain records
  • Prepare complex written materials
  • Provide support and administration duties
  • Support efficient functioning of the programs
  • Prepare regular process and status updates involving presentations, correspondence and reporting

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in research, preparing and producing reports in a programme, project or governance rile
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
  • Highly developed communication skills, verbally, written and presenting.
  • Experience within a corporate or business support role
  • Tertiary qualification in business, management or commerce are highly desirable
  • Computer literacy
