The Client

Exciting opportunity to be apart of a market leading company with a dynamic work environment based in the Melbourne CBD, Eastern suburbs & South East Suburbs.

You would be apart of a diverse team specialising in the management of legal and logistical aspects of local sites across and involved in the roll out, maintenance and servicing of essential networks.

The Role

To provide direct management and supervision of subcontractors and internal work crews to ensure all field work activity is directed at each site in a safe and operative manner. The Project Construction Supervisor will manage the work crews to meet project delivery and quality targets.

The Responsibilities

  • Manage the day to day activity of field staff, equipment and materials to ensure that the performance of field work occurs with agreed schedules
  • Ensure the standard of all work in the field is of a high quality and in accordance with work practices and standards required by the Client, the Company and service providers
  • Assist to identify and develop process and work practices to improve productivity and reduce the costs of field work activities
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and 3rd party stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensure all staff and contractors are following all policies and procedures set by the client and our clients quality, environmental and safety plans
  • Lead and maintain positive team, motivating people to achieve the highest levels of job satisfaction

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Possess an expert technical knowledge of the relevant aspects of the various networks and the work practices required by the client
  • Ability to resolving day-to-day operational issues and solve technical problems with a high degree of autonomy, and independent judgement
  • Possess a high level of organisation skills to achieve production targets. Be effective with time management and be able to prioritise critical issues
  • Possess Civil pit and pipe technical knowledge
  • Possess Fibre design and installation knowledge
