Position and candidate overview

On behalf of Advanced Piping Systems, Randstad is currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain / Operations Manager, based at their national head office in St Marys. Reporting to the Sales and Operations Director, this key position has been created to drive processes across the business, forming the link between sales, operations and customers, whilst ensuring that the company consistently meets their customer promise. The ideal candidate has a history of implementing and maintaining systems and methodologies across the production, warehousing, and operations of a manufacturing company.

The successful candidate will be able to articulate working knowledge and examples of the following:

  • 5+ years experience managing operations / supply chains in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining quality assurance systems
  • Experience developing and ensuring adherence to operations SOP’s
  • Evidence of promoting a “zero harm” culture and driving safety standards
  • Building relationships with internal stakeholders such as production, warehousing, procurement & sales teams
  • Building relationships and negotiating with external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, 3PL providers
  • Application of lean methodologies
  • Ability to think at scale and execute against that vision
  • Demonstrating Advanced Piping Values – Respect, Urgency, Trust, Humility, Recognition
