Tax and Compliance Officer


12 month contract for someone with knowledge on Tax law who is able to provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is looking for a more flexible working arrangement and my client will consider part time hours if preferred.

You are able to apply and disseminate an established view and contribute to ability to apply the law. This may involve analysing information, facts and evidence, and undertake reviews and update information on current systems

Key responsibilities include:

The Role

  • Develop and promote technical excellence in law interpretation
  • Provide reports and advice to stakeholders on interpretation of the law
  • Manage investigations, research, interpretation and evaluation where legislation, guidelines and procedures do not give clear answers
  • Manage risk and apply appropriate risk mitigation strategies


  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding on Tax Law
  • Ability to manage key stakeholder relationships
  • Problem solver with ability to interpret technical information
  • Demonstrate an understanding of legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks
