We are looking for an effective team manager and leader who has worked in the critical systems environment.

The team is technically diverse across engineering, communications, navigation and surveillance industries. Your role will be to manage workloads and schedules with an enterprise maintenance system.

In a critical systems environment, you will champion change in the way assets are managed as well as influencing and motivating change to update work practices.

It is envisaged you will currently lead a small team in a critical systems environment or looking for a challenge in with a new and innovate environment in the aviation industry.

You will have strong stakeholder development skills with demonstrated activities in the fields of continuous improvement and change management. As your manager is based in Brisbane, you will be expected work work autonomously and adhere to a strong legislative and regulatory environment.

The organisation has many career paths for open for succession. The previous team leader was promoted into a new role a few months ago, the Asset Services Manager (2 Up) started on the graduate program 12 years ago.

This will be a great challenge for the right person. Keeping pace with the new and innovative technology coupled with keeping the public safe in the gateway to Australia makes for a dynamic organisation.

Based at Sydney Airport on General Holmes Drive, there will be some travel outside of Metro Sydney plus the occasional trip interstate for management meetings.

The salary package has 14% superannuation on top of a generous benefits package.
