Seeking a customer focused Team Leader with considerable experience working in a similar role.

You will manage hardware and software upgrade projects including POS, workstations, network equipment, printers and online HUBS (workstation with scanner printer, keyboard and mouse) across various client sites within the retail sector.

You will also manage a small project team of up to 6 ICT Technicians and ideally a Scale and POS Certifier.

Flexibility around work days and hours as well as travel is a must as you will be required to work nights, maximum 10 hour shift with a 10 hour break, up to 7 days a week. Travel at short notice may also be required to regional and remote Victoria as well as Tasmania.


You will have:

  • Considerable experience working in a Team Leader role, managing ICT computer hardware upgrade projects as well as project teams of up to 6 ICT Technicians.
  • Point of Sale (POS) experience is required, hardware installation experience is essential.
  • Scale and POS Certifier is preferred.
  • White Card is essential
  • Aware of SLA and critical requirements.
  • Understand the criticality of the use of documentation, escalations and time management.
  • Ideally, software installation experience however training can be provided.
  • Clear understanding of all WHS requirements.
  • Ability to follow direction as per technical documentation.
  • Customer / service focussed attitude, with outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with ability to liaise with customers and third parties.
  • Collaborative, ‘can-do’ attitude with a positive and enthusiastic personality.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
  • An open mind and willingness to learn.
  • A Police Clearance Certificate (with at least 6 months validity) or the ability to obtain
  • A full (clean) Drivers Licence and own transport is required.
  • Follow and abide by company IT “Acceptable use of IT resources” policy at all times.

It is a requirement that you supply your own Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and Basic Toolkit, they must be carried at all times when working on customer sites, and must contain the following items.

Basic Toolkit:

  • 2 x Philips head screwdrivers (small & large)
  • 2 x Flat head screwdrivers (small & large)
  • Side cutters
  • Cordless drill
  • Drill bits
  • Hole cutter
  • Long-nose pliers
  • Box Cutter / Stanley knife
  • Static strap
  • Tape gun

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE):

  • Steel capped shoes/boots
  • Hard hat
  • Safety glasses
  • Reflective vest
  • Gloves
