Team Leader

  • Immediate start available
  • Smithfield, NSW location

Rotating shifts (in a week)

2x Day Shift - 6am to 6pm

2x Night shift - 6pm to 6am

Our Client is a leading manufacturer of recycled paper based products with a plant based in Smithfield. They are currently seeking a well established Team Leader for day/night shifts on a rotating working week to assist on the factory floor on an permanent basis.

Reporting to the Production Shift foreman, responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting machine operators
  • People management of 10x operators
  • Achieve and improve production targets daily
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex production problems
  • Perform periodic quality and safety checks
  • Daily housekeeping of the factory floor

Those that have exceptional communication and time management skills within a manufacturing environment.

To succeed in this position, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience/exposure to paper manufacturing or similar industry
  • Trade or engineering background
  • Team player with good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow written standard operating procedures
  • Have a great work ethic with reliability and commitment
