So, what do you need?

  • You will be a tenacious, forward thinking Business Analyst, who has worked in digital teams and along side developers.
  • You will have hybrid experience in Project Management, Developing, and being a BA.
  • You will also come from a developer background and maybe wanted to move away from the tools but still enjoy working alongside them.
  • You’ll know Drupal and PHP.
  • You will be 100% comfortable in your skill level and know how to work agile inside and out.
  • You will enjoy working in a fast paced environment, where your directives can change at the drop of a hat and the focus of the work is constantly changing.
  • You will have a strong technical background but know how to engage with multiple different stakeholders.

So, on a day to day basis?

  • First technical point of contact, managing workflow for Australian BAU and projects, and global projects. Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements.
  • End-to-end project management including scoping, estimating, articulating requirements, documentation, and timeline management.
  • Be the primary point of contact for JIRA and Service desk to ensure smooth global communication flows.
  • Write user stories, user guides, and validate definitions of ready and done .
  • Define and contribute to acceptance criteria of user stories .
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project process with regular and transparent reporting.
  • Focus on quality, defining test cases and executing test to drive informative quality metrics.
  • Own features from inception through to delivery, collaborating with team to align expectation.
  • Define workflow management including improving on existing business operation processes.
  • Be the knowledge bridge between development and the business and understand design and usability practices – a good communicator who can can translate technical speak into business speak.
  • Can work with developers to create break downs of work into tasks.
  • Keen to understand how Drupal works to ensure best advice can be provided to the business but also to give insights to the team on how the system can work best for our customers.
  • Works with the business to ensure decision and investments produce strong RoI.
  • Strong analytical skills and insight capability.
  • Proactive with excellent attention to details with a methodical thought process.
  • Significant experience working with deadlines and tight timeframes.
  • JIRA and Service Desk experience strongly preferable.
  • Ideally previous development experience.
