The Role

  • Unique opportunity exists in Thornton for a Technical Sales Representative to continue to build on an already existing loyal client base
  • Using your technical and product knowledge, you will be the subject matter expert when it comes to meeting with clients in order to help their needs
  • The ‘thrill of the chase’ to bring on new business and service current accounts will empower you to be very successful in this role
  • Following the strategic growth plan, you will become a key part of the business which is ready to slingshot in 2019
  • This role will have you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same

The Skills

  • Engineering trade qualification
  • Achieve sales targets whilst maintaining margins and KPI’s
  • Presentation of new and existing products as well as customer training
  • Experience using a CRM
  • Enter orders, provide quotations and pricing for customers
  • Provide specialised insights and advice on products
  • Self starter who can work autonomously
  • Ability to source new clients by either cold calling or through targeted sales campaigns to new and existing markets
  • Friendly, outgoing personality coupled with a “never give up attitude”
  • Customer service drives you to excel each day
