About you

Most importantly, you have a current driver's license and the capacity for regular travel, mostly within Sydney and sometimes other areas within NSW. A proven history of experience with cabinet making or joinery trade is essential, ideally 5 years or more of experience and up to date Cert III level qualifications in cabinet making, joinery or furniture making. You are proficient with Microsoft Office and can complete administration and reporting requirements with minimal assistance. Previous experience in training or mentoring apprentices will be highly regarded. You are willing to obtain or already have a current Working With Children Check and Police Check.

Your new role

As the confident and outgoing Workplace Trainer, you will be entrusted with keeping your Trainees and Apprentices engaged in their learning while delivering professional training and assessment. You will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training resources with your team. The majority of your working week will be spent travelling to visit apprentices and stakeholders as you strive to establish ongoing and authentic relationships as their trusted advisor and furnishing industry expert across Sydney and NSW.
