    Skout Solutions are seeking Lifeguards for roles based at Puckapunyal defence base. Roles are on an ongoing temporary basis Mon-Sun on a roster working varied hours per week. Attractive hourly rate plus super and an immediate start. Potential permanent opportunity for the right candidate. TASKS:Lifeguard tasks to include:General pool lifeguard duties and water testingChecking/using the pool rescue equipmentSupervising bathers, ensuring they adopt safe water entry and pool area practices (NO Public swimming only defence and defence families)Ensure that there is at least one lifeguard on duty and facing the water at all times while bathers are in the pool area - this will be done on a roster basisIntervene in any non-safe practice.Regular weekend shift would be required (every 2nd weekend). Rosters available a month in advance REQUIRED CERTIFICATESFirst Aid CertificatePool Lifeguard Certificate SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Previous experience as a lifeguard are highly desirable It is ESSENTIAL that all of the above certificates are able to be providedAble to provide excellent customer serviceAble to work well both within a team and on an individual basisFlexible and able to work to changing priorities About VentiaVentia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
