An exciting opportunity has become available with a leading facilities management organisation. As the WH&S Advisor you will provide the highest standard of value added solutions through qualitative, flexible and relevant WH&S consultation services that align with business strategies

This position will encompass responsibilities in WHS advisory, incident and hazard management, systems support, assurance and compliance. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure a high level of service and delivery in line with KPI’s. The position will be offered on a 3 month contract basis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • The provision of WHS and related operational risk information for facilities & project management, contractors and procurement of contractors on the portfolio
  • Manage the internal audit schedule and the incident and hazard register ensuring the timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor and improve the implementation of WHS systems through yearly operational plans, campaigns, training activities and general programmes
  • Utilisation of UTrac incident and hazard reporting system in consultation with facility managers
  • Conduct WHS system, contractor and spot check audits
  • Develop, organise, implement and deliver training and training resources;
  • Work with key stakeholders to ensure best practice WH&S procedures are practised
  • Collate data, analyse and summarise for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual report performance statistics as required;
  • Prepare monthly safety performance report for the Operations Management Group (including Facilities Helpdesk and Safety Centre integrated reporting

Critical to your success will be an open communication style, and your ability to enthuse people about proactive safety management. Experience in a corporate environment will highly regarded as will an understanding of contractor management and the specific risks and issues that pertain.
