Role Summary/Purpose: The selected candidate will carry responsibilities for some Indirect Commodity Categories and for the development of the corresponding legal contracts. This support is required to support the team with the divestiture of GE Water & Process Technologies to the new company. The successful candidate will be able to drive cost out and productivity by improving our indirect sourcing activities, analyzing the company¿s spending and exploring new opportunities. These activities must always be performed in full compliance with the indirect sourcing strategies and the company¿s Indirect policies and procedures. A close cooperation with supply chain, sales, finance and legal will be key for success. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the synergies project that will be initiated in view of the creation of the new company. Responsibilities: Develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. Is responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role will drive the short-term and long-term business goals. Key responsibilities: - Evaluate existing Corporate Agreements and define path forward to secure business continuity on Day 1 of new company (via assignment clauses / divestiture clause / new negotiations) - Drive synergy projects after the divestiture of GE W&PT to the new company - Drive strategic negotiations to achieve short-term & long-term business goals for assigned commodities - Understand strategies for assigned commodities and proactively drive initiatives to meet objectives - Will drive and be accountable for operational excellence of assigned programs. - Perform continual market analysis and monitor supplier progress. - Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency - Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies - Manage the company's portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
