Randstad is partnering with a MNC company that specializes in electrical engineering, power, and automation technology. The company is expanding their Sales team and looking for a talented Business Development Manager to be part of their growing team.
duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement individual business plans in collaboration with regional business plans, guided by the Head of Sales and top management to achieve sales targets for your assigned customers and/or territory.
- Create and execute territory and key account sales strategies to strengthen the company's market position
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders to secure orders, and provide appropriate feedback to management if orders are not won.
- Ensure customer orders contain all necessary information for processing, assist in clarifying ambiguous details, and obtain missing data as needed.
- Focus on market segment development activities and jointly achieve revenue targets. Target segments include M&E Consultants, Materials Handling Equipment EPCs, Water & Energy Utilities, Cement and Extractive (Mining & Quarry) EPCs, and End-Users.
skill and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (mechatronic, elecronic or electrical)
- At least 5 years practical experience in related field
- It is essential that you have worked in an MNC business, ideally within a matrix structure.
- Experienced dealing with Gearbox products
- Dealing with multiple cross functional team environment
