Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the wastewater industry, including municipalities, treatment plants, and engineering firms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking opportunities to upsell and cross-sell our product offerings.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials that effectively showcase our pumps and valves solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (desirable).
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the industrial sector, with specific experience in selling pumps and/or valves to the wastewater industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and effectively communicate the features and benefits of our products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for exceeding targets and objectives.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events and conferences.
