The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher who ideally can also teach Economics, to join this dedicated team. The successful candidate will be passionate about their subject, capable of inspiring students, and committed to helping each student achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies and Economics (if applicable).
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
- Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Support and contribute to the extra-curricular life of the school.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent consultations, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level. Experience teaching Economics is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
