Our client in the security and alarms industry is looking for an Order Entry to work a 12-month assignment with strong potential of extension in their Brampton office! If successful you will work 40 hours per week at a rate of $14.55 per hour. Responsibilities include:

• Verify accuracy (part numbers, pricing, discounts etc…) for all call-in, fax or email orders.
• Assist Sales with discount orders, no-charge orders, order inquiries and order follow-up for customers.
• Analyze incoming orders and offer product substitutions where applicable.
• Perform all other related Order Entry responsibilities including scheduling shipments, processing returns, follow-up communication regarding order status, provide tracking information, provide export documentation to the customer
• Make recommendations regarding the improvement of the order entry process and procedure to improve the effectiveness of the department and improve total customer satisfaction.
•Attend various tradeshow and business meeting functions as a representative of the department
•Tracking Legal reviews an assisting the Sales Representatives, Area Sales Manager and Legal contract administrators as required in retrieving contract related information

• Post-secondary education (preferred) or work equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a customer facing role
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Outlook (required)
• Strong initiative and work ethic
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• SAP will be an asset
