What you will get:

• $45,000 annual salary based on experience

Who and how you will provide support:

• Report directly to the Controller
• Assist with preparing and reviewing Sales Order Invoicing on a daily basis
• Review Accounts Receivables register and investigate any error with the purchasing department
• Close and distribute Accounts Receivable register reports to selective managers across the company
• Prepare reports for controller on month end and quarterly end
• Review incoming cheques for accuracy and deposit them in accounts
• Post Cash Receipts on the system, run reports and file
• Check freight and duty charge invoice for existence, accuracy and completeness
• Resolve any issues with shopping company and act as liaison to other departments to communicate these issues to avoid from happening again
• Manage inventory orders from purchasing department and verify accuracy
• Post of supplier invoices on the system for payment
• Assist Controller and senior accountant in any assigned tasks
• Assist on assigned administrative projects when required
• Backup for reception when needed

What you NEED to be successful in this role:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent
• 2 – 4 years accounting and administrative experience
• Confident in computer environment including MS Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Provide results and deadline focused
