Do you have strong knowledge of debits and credits and have document review experience? Our client, a leading bank, is looking for an Accounting Clerk for a 6 months contract in Toronto!

Pay rate: $19.44/Hr
Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm
Length: 6 months

As an Accounting Clerk your main job duties will include:
- Processing transactions related to loans, mortgages, credit cards
- Documentation review and vetting (60 + per day)
- Assist with payment reversals and collection of fees

Qualifications
Must Have Skills:
- Strong knowledge of debits and credits
- Experience with document vetting
- Previous banking experience
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working with excel and word (nice to have)

- High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Judgment & decision making ability
- Ability to Multi-tasking
