Randstad is currently seeking experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator for a 8 month contract opportunity for a growing client in the legal sector! The ideal candidate will come with 2+ years’ of relative experience in professional services and have worked closely with senior management. This opportunity is based out of Downtown Toronto and is accessible to the TTC subway line and Union Station!

Key Responsibilities
• Processing and posting of cheques, and EFT payments
• Working closely with associates and partners to resolve any duplicate payments/invoices
• Posting cash and miscellaneous accounts as required
• Preparing and cancellation of cash receipts
• Preparing and returning any duplicates or overpayments
• Preparing and posting credit notes and adjustments on accounts
• Preparing and entering monthly journal entries
• Client correspondence and answering any questions to members of the firm
• Processing payments online via internal system
• Filing of documentation
• All other relative duties as required

• Post-Secondary education is a must, specialization in Accounting is a strong asset
• Minimum 2 years' of relative experience in professional services
• Legal industry experience is a strong asset
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
