This is a 6 month -to -full time Accounts Receivable position with our prestigious client midtown Toronto! Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable to join their accounting team. This position is for candidates who are looking for career growth potential, and who are capable of processing high volume invoices.

• Maintaining up to date monthly billings
• Managing monthly charges and credits for clients
• Conducting warm collection calls on past due invoices to ensure clients meet payment terms and timeline
• Providing high level customer service to client issues in a professional manner
• Maintaining monthly entries for deposits, wires and credit card payments accordingly.
• Managing GL account reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Preparing invoices as required
• Preparing and maintaining bank reconciliations and filing of GST/HST rebates
• Working closely with accounts payable and assisting with auditing as needed
• Perform other related duties as needed

• University or College degree in a Business/ Accounting related subject
• 1-2+ years’ experience in professional services, education sector preferred
• Bilingual in French is a PLUS
• Working experience with Excel is a must
• Must be able to work with little supervision
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to effectively prioritize whilst taking ownership of work
