Are you looking for a short-term assignment? Do you have a previous administrative assistant experience? Do you have great interpersonal skills, and perform your work in a swift and professional manner? If so we have an excellent opportunity for you!

We are currently looking for an office assistant to support senior managers in our tax Industry leading client's downtown Vancouver office. If hired you will work full-time hours on a 2-week assignment (beginning ASAP), be paid $20.5 per hour, and be responsible for supporting day-to-day activities for a group of partners, including the following:

• Calendar management – monitor and/or manage assigned partner(s) Google calendars. This includes responsibility for: arranging internal and external meetings, responding to changing priorities; the coordination of meeting logistics and the preparation of supporting material.
• E-mail – monitor e-mail on behalf of assigned partner(s). This includes reviewing email for meeting invitations and taking action on specific requests at the direction of the partner.
• Book travel using company approved travel provider.
• Prepare and submit expense reports using proprietary software.
• Work process management – review of upcoming deadlines and work requirements with the partner(s); manage the flow of work to the partner (such as documents for review/signature).

As well as additional related tasks.

• Work for a top-tier organization in the Tax and Professional Services Industry
• Earn the competitive wage of $20.50 per hour
• Work in Downtown Vancouver
• Work full-time business hours (between 8:30am and 5:00pm)

• Previous experience in a law firm is an asset
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• High attention to detail
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Prolaw is an asset
