Government of Alberta – Administrative Support 4

Are you looking for a rewarding position where you can put your high end administrative support skills and understanding of Government of Alberta policies to use? Do you have at least 6 months of experience working with the Government of Alberta? Do you truly love working in a central location with amazing amenities surrounding your workplace? Working in the heart of Downtown, you will work in a supportive team based atmosphere with a high degree of inclusiveness and professionalism. In this exciting and busy Administrative Support role, you'll take care of any number of tasks, including:

- Financial – urgent requests as needed
- Microsoft Outlook and Office – to support the team on meetings, calendar management, printing, interview requests, urgent requests from Division/Sector, disclosure statements for contractors, simple updating, room bookings, interview packages.
- Inventory updates
- Sharepoint (project work is performed in Sharepoint so there is file management that may need to be done)
- ARTS (Action Request Tracking System)
- Additional work will be on demand to support the projects and tasks in the Director’s office.

Qualifications

We are excited to meet with candidates that have 6 months + of progressive experience working for the Government of Alberta in a role where compiling and sorting information was a key component of the daily responsibilities. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience with ARTS and EXCLAIM systems in a Government of Alberta setting is required
- Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, Outlook capabilities
- We’re looking for a candidate that is a team player
- the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Be a reliable and punctual employee
- Be able to pick up and learn new things easily
- A great personality and a positive attitude
- 2 professional, supervisory references
