Government of Alberta – Intermediate Administrative Support

Are you looking for a fast paced challenging role where you can put your top notch administrative support skills and understanding of Government of Alberta policies to use? Do you have at least 6 months of experience working with the Government of Alberta?

Working in the heart of Stony Plain, you will support a team of senior Branch Administrators to ensure that tasks are handled quickly and with a high level of professionalism. From managing calendars to ensuring that meeting minutes are distributed clearly and accurately, the successful candidate will truly be central to the success of the team.

In this exciting and busy Intermediate Administrative Support role, you'll take care of any number of tasks, including:

- Processing Government of Alberta accounts to a General Ledger using Excel
- Cover reception when Receptionist is on break, as needed
- Use IMAGIS (PeopleSoft) to process inbound and outbound payments ( Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable )
- Process P-Card transactions and use ExClaim to track expenses

- Experience with IMAGIS in a Government of Alberta setting is required
- Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, Outlook experience
- We’re looking for a candidate that is able to work with a team
- What others call a fast pace you call a regular day at the office
- The ability to reliably commute to, or work in, Stony Plain
- 2 professional, supervisory references
