Our wealth management client is looking for passionate and driven Application Support representatives to provide software application maintenance and support to our clients to minimize service disruption and facilitate operations. Our ideal candidates will have have wealth management and brokerage experience in the heart of Downtown Toronto! You will gain insight into the inner workings of this industry and hone your Application Support skills as an integral part of our technical support team!

What will you be doing?
Provide technical and application support to ensure the availability and functionality of all products for our clients with minimum downtime.
Respond to production issues/emergencies during business hours and off hours according to the agreed upon SLA’s.
Monitor and review incoming emails for responses for existing items and new client issues to ensure there are enough background and details to allow triage.

Perform root cause analysis and provide technical solutions to production related application errors.

Do you have the right qualifications?
·2+ years of Wealth Management and/or brokerage and securities experience is required.
·Industry recognized post-secondary courses (CSC and/or IFIC) is an asset.
·2+ years in client services in an application and/or technical support role in the financial services/industry space.
·Knowledge or hands-on technical experience with: Java, Websphere, PL/SQL.
·Experience with Toad is an asset.
·Strong multi-tasking abilities to manage their time and competing interests.
·Solid understanding and experience with the wealth management industry (preferably in banking, funds, or transfer agencies).
·Proactive “service-first” and “trainable” attitude.
