We are looking for an Assembler for a great furniture company in Kitchener who is recognized as a leader in the design & manufacture of high quality business and healthcare furniture. You will be working on a line, using hand tools and assisting in assembling pieces of furniture in accordance to drawings with quality assurance procedures in mind. You will assemble cases, and fit drawer fronts If you have previous experience in Assembly and love working with wood products this position is for you!

-straight afternoon shift 3:30-11:45pm
-available on a bus route in Kitchener


- Grade 12 education or equivalent experience.
- Able to read blueprints/drawings; good math/measuring skills.
- Good language communication skills both written & verbal.
- Experience using woodworking equipment (ie. table saw, drill press, air driver, chisel, staple gun).
- Familiar with woodworking assembly components, e.g. hardware dowels, mini-fixes.
- Working knowledge of sub-assembly components (drawer build and drawer fit).
- Strong manual dexterity required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
