Do you have extensive experience with transformer and radiator maintenance? Are you looking for temporary contract work? Do you have the ability to conduct your field work safely and efficiently? If so, we have an opportunity for you!
Our client in Edmonton is looking for an Assembly Technician to join their field service team! You will be responsible for the timely assembly of different types of equipment such as fans on radiator and electrical connections. You will also be responsible for handling and working with connection boxes for HV and LV bushing. By carefully following all health and safety guidelines, you will ensure that equipment is installed without issue. You will also be responsible for uncrating all equipment, and must ensure all equipment remains undamaged. The successful applicant for the position of Assembly Technician will be able to comfortably fill radiators with FR3 fluid inside transformers. You must also be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team. Field service locations will range across Alberta and Saskatchewan. This contract will last approximately three weeks. The applicant must have:
• Previous experience with transformer maintenance
• Previous experience with fan installations
• Inter-provincial trades status preferred (Millwright/Industrial Mechanic)
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team
• The ability to complete their work safely
