Do you have an expertise in developing and implementing the Onboard Diagnostic Systems (OBD)?

This Systems Engineer role could be for you!!

Our client who is a world OEM leader is looking for an experienced OBD Systems Engineer. This role will be based at Markham, ON.

Must have –

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, System Design or equivalent)
• 5-7 years of experience developing and implementing OBD systems with diagnostics and functional safety systems.
• comprehensive experience with control system theory, integration, and Simulink modelling, active safety and automated driving systems
• strong knowledge with CARB (California Air Resource Board) and J1979
• experience with an automotive background is preferable. Experience in heavy equipment or trucking, rail or aerospace would also be considered
• excellent leadership skills
• must be a self-starter, analytical and detail oriented
• able to travel to the United States
