We have a fantastic temporary (with possibility of going permanent) position available for certified B-Pressure Welders! Do you hold a valid B-Pressure Welder certificate? Do you have experience working on vessels and spools? If so, then we would love to hear from you!

Our client is looking for 45 B-Pressure Welders to assist with a shutdown for a 4 to 8 week contract with 30,000 to 40,000 hours of projected work. You will be required to perform a variety of welds and will have to partake in an on the floor 3 part welding test.

This position is based strictly in Calgary, Alberta and requires no field work or travel and all welding will be done indoors.

We ask all Applicants to Possess the Following:

• Valid Journeyman Ticket
• Hold a valid B Pressure Welder Certificate
• All candidate will be tested on the following and must be able to pass 2 out of 3:
1) Boiler tube 2'', stick test, SMAW, 6G (Shielded Metal Arc Welding).
2) Roll weld, Spinning, GMAW, MIG welding. *Please note this one is 98% of the work on site*
3) Flex Core, Plate Test, FCAW
• Experience in vessel or process pipe
• Experience working on spools
• Results oriented and proven ability to work in a team environment
• Proper understanding of regulations and safety rules
• Possess own basic PPE for welding


• $42/hour for Day Shift OR $48/hour for Night Shift
• Opportunity for Overtime and Double Overtime
• Possibility to go Permanent after contract
• Paid Bi-Weekly
