I am looking to hire a an ETL Developer with a deep understanding of BI systems and Data warehousing concepts, as well as SAS.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Data Warehousing implementation and experience in developing technical solutions with SAS Data Integration in a SAS environment
Experience in strong knowledge of SQL solutions, Data cleansing, Data profiling skillsets

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, autonomous and resourceful:

Successful Candidates will possess:
• Overall 4-6 years of IT industry experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of strong development experience with SAS integration studio, and related SAS toolsets
• Be proficient in SAS programming
• Proficient in designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts using components like Kimball Methodology, Conformed Facts & Dimensions, Slowly Changing Dimensions, Surrogate Keys, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, De-normalization techniques, etc.
• Advanced SQL development and performance tuning, Data cleansing, Data profiling skillsets
• Experience in Integration with various data sources including SQL Server, Vertica and Oracle databases, Flat files, XML files and Web Services (SOAP).
• Strong in data validation, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
• Experience in handling complex logic with large volumes of data
• Experience with error handling and optimization of ETL packages
• Create technical designs based on business/functional requirements
• Experience working in agile delivery model
Added advantages:
• Experience in designing, developing and testing ETL jobs using other ETL tools like SSIS, Data stage
• Experience in developing analytical reports using reporting tools
• Hands on development experience using Bigdata / Hadoop tools
• Bilingual (EN/FR)
