Our client is looking for a bilingual customer service representative for a full time position in greater Victoria.

The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating with and answer inquiries from the clients consultants and customers in English as well as French. You have a friendly and positive personality and love to help people find positive solutions through proving viable options. You are proactive in anticipating the needs of the consultants and customers and passionate about supporting them through a variety of communication channels. The job is dynamic and the successful candidate needs to be flexible and able to adapt to changes and manage occasional high work loads.


Answer incoming inquiries through phone, chat and email support and follow-up in a professional manner in English and French
Monitor Facebook pages and provide timely responses that align with the client's language
Be of service by providing information on promotions, sales, incentives etc
Exude a positive, solution-oriented, and enthusiastic energy in all your interactions
Process orders for missing or damaged products
Process internal product orders
Understand and communicate the client's policies
Work in alignment with departmental processes
Occasionally provide evening/weekend support to support month-end
Assist in dealing with high volume during peak periods
Participate in other duties as may be required from time to time

Education & Experience:

Experience in customer service, hospitality or call center environments in a fast paced environment preferred
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Communications, Journalism or related field is an asset, but not required
An inherent ability to work towards solutions and solve problems
Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with social media, particularly Facebook
Ability to stay calm under pressure
High tolerance for ambiguity and change
