Our client in the Insurance Industry is looking for an entry level candidate to work as an Insurance Operations Coordinator on a 6 month assignment in their Downtown Toronto location. The successful candidates will work full time hours, begin ASAP, and be paid a rate of $23.43 per hour!

The Insurance Operations Coordinator would be providing accurate, efficient and timely production of somewhat complex policies and related documentation. Role will demonstrate increased technical expertise, strong subject matter expertise, and second level/more complex issue resolution. Exhibit leadership skills and work delegation. This individual will also support Client Facing Brokers in all aspects of administration and technical support. Will execute same tasks as Operations Specialist I as necessary.


Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate, efficient and timely production of somewhat complex policies and related documentation
o Renewals
o Cancellations
o Reporting Monthly
o Technical support
o update computer system records
o current and outstanding documentation follow-ups
o all other documentation
• Handle any incoming mail associated with the client file, scanning and attaching it properly in the broker management system, and then assigning it to an insurance agent so that it can be properly processed
• Other related duties

Qualifications
• Fluent in both English and French
• MUST have the Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills
• Extremely quick learner and comfortable in an uncertain/changing environment
• Advanced MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
• 0-2 years’ operations or administration work experience, with insurance background or knowledge a plus
• University or College education or above
