Randstad is currently seeking experienced Bilingual Payroll Specialist for an amazing opportunity downtown Toronto! Our client in the services industry is seeking for an experienced professional to join their team on a 10 month contract! This opportunity comes with potential to go permanent and is easily accessible to TTC subway line!

Responsibilities
• Working closely with the Payroll manager and Finance team
• Answering any payroll inquires for employees
• Complying with payroll processes and internal payroll systems
• Assisting in approval of payrolls and cheque requisitions for payroll payments vendors
• Managing and assisting with escalated payroll issues for employees
• Assisting and preparing T4's
• Preparing monthly journal entries and assisting with inter-company accounting
• Preparing reports as needed
• Reconciliation of Payroll to Bank and to GL ledgers
• All other related tasks as required

Qualifications
• Post-Secondary education is a must
• 3+ years’ payroll experience in professional services
• Experience with payroll legislation/collective agreements is a strong asset
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and SAP is a must
• Strong communication skills both written and spoken
• Strong problem solving skills
• Bilingual (French & English) is a must
