Are you looking to add great experience to your Communications career? Do you have experience writing and using a CMS (AEM, WordPress or Dreamweaver)?

If you answered yes to these questions, then this 9 month contract may be for you!
Based in Gatineau, your daily role would be to code simple html, write for the web on various topics related to the military and provide advice and assistant to the communications team in a web migration project.

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
1) Certificate, diploma or degree in English or French or both, writing, literature, journalism or other related field from a recognized post-secondary institution
2) 5 years of experience as a Writer
3) Minimum of five (5) years of experience writing user-friendly web content.
4) Minimum of 1 year of recent experience:
– Writing user-friendly web content for web pages using the Canada.ca Content Style Guide.
– Building webpages using the Adobe Experience Manager web publishing platform or similar platform
– Writing for a web content migration project, including analyzing content on various web pages and synthesizing that content for migration to a new website.
5) Writing web content related to Canadian military would be an asset
6) Enhanced Federal government clearance
7) Bilingualism in French and English
