We are looking for a Metal Cut-to-Length Blanking Line Set Up Operator,responsible for the accurate set up and operation of the Cut-to-Length Blanking Line according to customer specifications and production requirements, complying with standard operating procedures and health and safety standards.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and tend Cut-to-Length Blanking Line adhering to the standard operating procedures. Monitor operations, record and report operational data.
- Establish work schedules to meet demand and control inventory.
- Maintain a safe work environment by complying with safety standards and guidelines. Use personal protective equipment and adhere to housekeeping procedures.
- Monitor and maintain all dimensions of product quality including examination of completed product to verify conformance to specifications.
- Strictly adhere to the maintenance schedule specified by the equipment manufacturer. Report all equipment failure in the maintenance log and sign off. Be accountable for resolving maintenance issues.
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve corporate goals. Communicate and coordinate with other departments for scheduling and processing.
- Operate all warehouse equipment including lift trucks in a safe manner.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years experience operating Cut-to-Length with Blanking Line or Sheet metal Fabrication equipment
- Basic computer knowledge
- Equipment maintenance Skills; Troubleshooting and Repair
- Ability to assess weight limits for capacity and safety
- Lift truck certification
- Experienced with sheet metal fabrication with tight tolerances
- Understanding of thickness and Gauges of materials needed
