Are you an accountant with previous experience setting up accounting systems? Are you looking for a short-term opportunity to gain experience with a leading organization? If so, this may be the role for you!

We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper to work a 3.5 month contract for our client, a leading and globally recognized accounting firm, working out of their Victoria, BC office. As a Bookkeeper, you will work full time hours and earn an hourly rate of up to $50 per hour, responsible for various activities to set up accounting systems, including:

•Enter and Validate data to ERP new implementation companies prior to test
examples.
• Reconcile and match manual work
• Transfer starting and ending data for previous period company entries.
• Trial and test software models for accurate summaries, and roll up analysis.
• Other related duties

Qualifications
• 4+ years of previous bookkeeping experience
• Experience setting up, posting, and reconciling of accounting records
• Strong working knowledge of common accounting software packages
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent attention to detail
