Do you have experience working as a Brake Press Setup / Operator?
Would you like to work in an easily accessible & ideal Toronto location?
Are you hard-working, efficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced production area?
Are you available to work the night shift?

The Brake Press Setup / Operator will be responsible for the following key duties:
• Set-up and operate machines that may be mechanically or computer driven.
• Set-up machines by choosing the proper die, calculate bend allowances.
• Manually load the unformed or partly formed parts into the brake-press.
• Look after all machines and machine tools that shape or form metal by pressing or stamping.
• Input data through computer terminals to compensate for machine / material variations.

Qualifications
As a Brake Press Setup / Operator, you will be required to have:
• Ability to read fabrication prints or drawings, production orders , tally sheets, bills of materials, and process sheets.
• Ability to be self-directed such as planning workflow, priorities and resources needed without continuous supervision.
• Ability to have constant concentration on the job and be able to do repetitive work.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, press shops are very noisy and ear protection must be worn.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
• Good memory and organizational skills, safety conscious and physically fit to meet the demands of this job.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation to assure a safe environment.
