Our client in Edmonton is looking for a permanent full time Building Automation Solutions Specialist to join their team right away! You will be responsible for performing wiring checkout, system startups, graphics creation, database management, and programming utilizing commissioning tools. You will coordinate electrical installation with electrical contractors at job sites, while ensuring cohesion with all site operations. You will complete final critical adjustments, calibration and commissioning reports on systems following installation and preliminary set up. By making recommendations to supervisors about changes and improvements, you will ensure that projects are executed as effectively as possible. The successful applicant for the position of Building Automation Solutions Specialist in Edmonton will be able to conduct training and development classes for customers while also provide technical support and coaching to technicians. You will ensure that all work performed adheres to company health and safety policies. Time sheets, expenses, and other documentations must be properly completed as submitted as required. The applicant must have:
• A strong understanding of building automation services
• Three years of college or technical school resulting in an associate’s degree
• Equivalent combination of education and related practical experience will be considered
• Programming ability in Word, Excel, Access or PPCL
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and DT/CT
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• The ability to perform well under pressure
• The ability to work flexible hour and travel to sites
• The ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.
