Our client is looking for a Business Analyst!

Position's Location: Montreal

Profile needed:
- High proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Solid knowledge and experience with Network Management Systems (ex. HP OMI (OpsBridge), Openview, & Sitescope)
- Previous exposure to IT Alarm/monitoring solutions including alarm correlation
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
- Experience with 3PP tool selection process (RFQ, RFI, RFP)

• Leadership, Independent, Proactive, Self-motivating, Organized, stakeholder management experience, strong business acumen, technology savvy, strong analytical and problem solving skills, leadership skills, strong facilitation skills
• Understanding of railway domain, Positive Train Control (a plus)​

Mandatory skills:
10 years

Summary of tasks:
Plan Business Analysis activities for project / Initiative / Audience
Elicit Business Requirements from Internal / External business partners
Facilitate communication between stakeholders (Business, IT, Customers, etc.)
Analyze, clarify and prioritize requirements with business
Requirements management and communication
Create and validate the current and future state business processes with business partners
Analyze processes to identify business opportunities
Verify and validate requirements coverage (meeting business needs)
Apply, and ensure compliance with, all appropriate IT standards (eg. Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, SOX, etc.)
