Our client, one of the leading banks is hiring a Jr. Business Analyst/eDiscovery Analyst for a 6 month contract with long term potential.

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple operational eDiscovery Projects simultaneously, from initiation through to completion, in a cost and risk mitigating fashion.
• Execute collection, processing, preservation, exporting and archiving activities in Enterprise Vault, using Veritas eDiscovery Platform, and in other sources as necessary and deliver a legally defensible product.
• Coordinate with multiple business units, internal and external partners [including, internal counsel, external counsel and review vendors], throughout the case workflow to meet requirements, deadlines and budget.
• Perform as a trusted business advisor and provide consultations to requestors regarding collection strategies, targeted search terms, scoping parameters and recommend effective review strategies as required.
• Maintain accurate tracking and statistics to produce a defensibility report for all cases and for record keeping purposes.
• Work with other members of the team, internal technology partners and vendor support, to troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.

Qualifications
Must-have:
• Undergraduate degree or relevant designation (e.g. Paralegal, Law Clerk); minimum two years managing complex eDiscovery requests.
• Must have a collaborative work style, and commitment to get the job done in a detail oriented, client focused time-pressured environment.
• Knowledge of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and clear understanding of the discovery process for disputes, regulatory, compliance and investigation cases.
• Knowledgeable in the use of the Veritas eDiscovery System for case creation, collection and processing.
• Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous cases with changing priorities; able to work effectively with various stakeholders to re-align priorities as required; strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-have:
• Expert knowledge of the Veritas eDiscovery System and related tools/applications from a user perspective.
• Procedural expertise - knowledge of RBC Discovery processes and procedures and interdependencies.
• Familiarity with other eDiscovery processes and technologies (collection tools such as Discovery Accelerator; processing steps such as deNISTing, near-deduping, global deduping, date filtering; advanced search technologies such as concept clustering, predictive coding).
