Business Development | Energy Management Solutions
$60,000-70,000 - Toronto

Our client are Canadian Pioneers in the manufacturing and distribution of Sub-metering and Billing Solutions. They are currently looking for a Business Development Representative to join their growing team and to drive presence and revenue in the commercial & residential sector in the GTA.

More specifically, primary responsibilities will include:
• Driving the direct sales of metering solutions to multi-residential and commercial buildings in the GTA
• Ability to speak and present proposals and presentations to a multitude of departments and levels of management
• Conduct after sale follow up and respond to customer issues as well as maintain customer relationships with key influencers at multiple levels
• Ability to work on long sales cycles and provide projection/forecast for expected sales volume and profit for existing and new accounts
• Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis

• Attractive compensation package base $60,000 - $70,000

• Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience
• Technical knowledge of electrical/mechanical products would be ideal
• An understanding of the sales cycle to Builders, Contractors and Engineering Firms in multi-residential/ commercial construction would be an asset
• Strong ability to take initiative, uncover new opportunities and have a passion for hunting new business
• Professional, organized and strong communicator - presentation skills are essential
• Must have a strong track record of closing new business opportunities
