Enbridge (Union Gas) in Chatham has partnered with Randstad Engineering in their search for a Buy to join their team! If you are interested in being a part of this incredible organization, this role could be for you!

In this role, you would be responsible for:
- Work with & support internal customers/users to understand their service requirements
- Administer the ordering process and convert purchase/service requests in to complete purchase/service order
- Complete procurement project execution plans (PEP) as required
- Following up and maintain Parked and Blocked invoices
- Support Project team in the execution of 6 phase business unit lifecycle as required
- Direct spend to preferred suppliers in order to maintain cost effective rates for the company
- Ensure all of the risk and liability requirements are met (pre-qualification, environmental health and safety, workers comp)
- Respond to internal and external audit document requests
- Run various Reports for services team (contract status, Service Order balances and supplier spend, etc.)
- Support and/or facilitate the sourcing strategy and execution (RFx, Single source, etc), evaluations, supplier award, and contract approvals up through executive levels as required
- Facilitate the execution of contracts including creation of custom contracts ensuring all approval requirements are met.
- Act as liaison between Category Management and regional Supply Chain as required
- Ensure document retention/storage of final contract and sourcing documents


As a qualified candidate, you meet the following requirements:
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Post secondary education in related field
- Able to describe the sourcing process and key concepts including a general knowledge of materials or services
- Experience with Contract creation, implementation & closure
- Fundamental acumen in buying materials or service, including an understanding of the procurement process to obtain materials and services required by the business
- Experience with supplier management
