Randstad is now looking for a Carpenter for our client in Victoria BC. We are seeking a strong individual to help this National Construction company with their projects in Victoria. This company is built on high standards, excellent product and design!

The carpenter will work under the Site Superintendent. The Carpenter will work in a fast paced and dynamic environment


• Assorted construction duties including, but not limited to:framing, drywalling, roofing and siding.
• Follow blue-prints and building plans for specifications.
• Pour and finish of concretes, including slabs and walls.
• Finish work including; trim, cabinet installation, flooring, windows, doors, etc.
• Determine appropriate materials and supplies necessary for work required.
• Pick up/delivery of materials as required.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Working in both hot and cold environments.
• Other general carpentry tasks as assigned


• Excellent Safety work ethic.
• Valid G-class Licence and own transportation.
• Red Seal carpenter certification preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Working at Heights certification an asset.
• Minimum 5 years construction experience.
• Experience working with concrete (forming, pouring, slab work and wall forming).
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and within a team structure.


• $32 an hour depending on experience
