An international manufacturer of high quality adhesives, sealants and coatings is looking for an experienced batch mixer/chemical processer to join their dynamic team!

Position: Batch Mixer/Blending Operator
Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay: $19-27/hr

Location: Etobicoke - Finch/Hwy 427 or Finch/Humberline

In-Person Interviews held on Wednesday June 14th 2017

Days - 7:30Am - 4:00pm
Afternoons - 3:30Pm - 12:00Am

- The ability to read batch recipes and follow instructions accordingly so that batches are made to the correct quality standard
- Moving of barrels off convey on to skid, wrap skids
- Stage and prepare ingredients for blends as needed for production according to batch sheets and formulas. Ensures correct ingredients are used for each batch
- Deliver chemicals into blend tanks in predetermined quantities using automated systems as well some semi-automated / manual systems
- Operates equipment safely (mix tank, scales, meters, pumps, forklifts, etc.)
- Ensures all raw materials returned to inventory have been documented correctly and the containers are in good condition
- Autonomous maintenance activities; changing of diaphragm pumps, hose cam locks, fittings etc.
- Complete all batch documentation accurately and in a timely manner so as to ensure raw material inventory is properly accounted for
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all time, raise concerns as they arise

- Familiarity with good manufacturing processes, ISO 9001
- Computer proficiency
- Valid Raymond Reach license is an asset
