Randstad Engineering is looking for a seasoned Civil Engineering Technologist with solid experience in Civil 3D/2D and prior experience in working on Municipal projects, mainly roadworks, storm water, sanitary and public parks.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
--------------------------------
- Design for a wide-range of municipal projects
- Assist in the cost effective, proper and timely production of civil engineering designs and drawings that meet all client and approval agency requirements and standards
- Assist in transforming preliminary concepts and sketches into engineering designs, plans and project informational requirements, using primarily Civil 2D/3D, as well as other technical software as needed


Skills:
-------
- Ability to work well in a non-structured, Design team environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Civil 2D and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently and also within a busy and high-performing team.


Education/Experience:
--------------------------
- 3 to 6 years of related experience
- Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or Engineering Drafting & Design plus 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Certified Technician/Technologist designation is an asset
- Previous experience developing civil plans for municipal/parks projects
